FALL IS HERE

Happy fall, everybody! Introduction to the best time of the year.... the leaves are changing colors, the weather is cooling down, and the holidays are beginning. One of my favorite recipes is pasta, chicken, and red wine vinegar. The tri-colored pasta has all the colors of fall, so who can resist? A fast and fun recipe that leaves everyone wanting more!

the story

Hey, everyone! Just thought I'd share a quick story about why I started meal prepping. In high school, I would eat Chick-Fil-A 3 times a day. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner; I was there. College hit and I switched over to Chipotle. The amount of money and calories from eating like this really had an effect on my life. I finally decided to change my habits and that's when I started meal prepping. Not only did it help my health, but it helped my bank account as well!

Friday F U N D A Y

Happy Friday, everyone!  The end of the week calls for a summary of this week's meal prep. Generally I make two meals to switch it up every other day. This week's meals were Teriyaki Chicken and Spaghetti.  Teriyaki Chicken recipe -  Take two pieces of chicken, two bags of rice, and teriyaki sauce. Start with setting the chicken in the pan and pour teriyaki sauce on it. Cook one side and then flip the chicken and repeat the same process. While the chicken is cooking, start cooking the rice. Depending on how you like your chicken - crispy or not - will depend on how long you want to cook it. The rice will cook for 10 minutes. After the rice is done, drain the bags and put the food into 2 different containers.  Spaghetti recipe -  Take two pieces of chicken, spaghetti sauce, marinara, and Parmesan cheese. Set the chicken in the pan and cook. Same as the instructions before, the timing for it to be done will be different for everyone. Start cooking the spa...
