Friday F U N D A Y

Happy Friday, everyone!

The end of the week calls for a summary of this week's meal prep. Generally I make two meals to switch it up every other day. This week's meals were Teriyaki Chicken and Spaghetti.

Teriyaki Chicken recipe -
Take two pieces of chicken, two bags of rice, and teriyaki sauce. Start with setting the chicken in the pan and pour teriyaki sauce on it. Cook one side and then flip the chicken and repeat the same process. While the chicken is cooking, start cooking the rice. Depending on how you like your chicken - crispy or not - will depend on how long you want to cook it. The rice will cook for 10 minutes. After the rice is done, drain the bags and put the food into 2 different containers.

Spaghetti recipe -
Take two pieces of chicken, spaghetti sauce, marinara, and Parmesan cheese. Set the chicken in the pan and cook. Same as the instructions before, the timing for it to be done will be different for everyone. Start cooking the spaghetti which will take about 15 minutes. When done, drain the spaghetti and place the food in containers. Put the spaghetti sauce in a separate small to-go container and sprinkle some Parmesan cheese on top of the spaghetti and chicken.

You're done! Happy w e e k e n d :)

the good ole new orleans

So, I recently went to New Orleans and it opened up my eyes to fabulous food! A couple of the places I would recommend: Willie Mae's Scotch House, New Orleans Food and Spirits, Jacques-Imo's. Just a couple of my favorite places -- send me your favorites!

happy NOVEMBER

I don't know about you, but I love the start of the month. Everything feels so fresh and new.. this is the time of the month where I try to make a list of the things I want to improve from the last month. My November goal is to be ahead of the game instead of procrastinating things I need to do. I almost always do things last minute and, in the end, it just stresses me out more. What are some of your November goals? Talk to your friends about some possible goals you could work on in your diet. I encourage you to get a group of 4-5 friends and reach out to me! I can help you work to reach those :) Happy November!

new week, fresh start

Happy Friday, everyone! This week has been a major week of change for me. I made the decision to quit my corporate job and take some time for myself. After I finish school in December, I will travel by myself for 6 months and I couldn’t be more excited about this decision. This post doesn’t have much to do about food, but without a job I will have a LOT more time to post about meal prepping ;) Have friends that want to learn more about meal prepping? Send them the links to my pages! Talk to you guys soon!
